After a 43-year career in writing and government communications, I retired with the goal of cutting stress, regaining health and remembering who I am. Moving to Costa Rica has been the answer for all of that.

I am a voracious reader, a lover of all things Florida State, and a Buddhist trying to remember that every day is its own perfect journey.

OpenHeartCR is my attempt to keep in touch with friends scattered all over the world, to assist those who might be planning a CR move of their own, and to help satisfy my desire to write, which helps me to better understand my world.
